Facilitator - Tan Kai Hiang (Kai)

Kai designs and delivers workshops and trainings that build Character and Emotional Resilience; and empower the mind-body connection. She has been trained to facilitate Adventure Learning programs and has been in the training field since 2003.

After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the Nanyang Technological University, Kai had a successful career in the Hospitality and Retail Industry for over 7 years. Her responsibilities while managing the retail business included human resource development, strategic marketing, local and overseas procurement, customer relationship management and operations.

During that time, Kai also served as a volunteer in several community projects such as Lions Club of Singapore CyberCare, Make-a-Wish Foundation and CampVision. Through her volunteer service, Kai found her true passion was in coaching and facilitating. She left her retail management job and has since been professionally engaged in the training arena.

Kai has facilitated programs for both local and international organizations such as SingTel, Singapore Sports Council, The Republic of Singapore Navy, Chartered Semiconductor, National Library Board, BP, American Express, Bank of America, HSBC, Citigroup, Nokia, Frontline Technologies and many others.
Her personal accomplishments include creating her first group photography exhibition in 2001, scaling the mountains in Nepal to visit the Base Camp of Mount Everest; and co-leading a service learning expedition for local and Nepalese youths to Tengpoche (12,700 feet) in the Khumbu region of the Himalayas.

Kai’s passion to make a difference has brought her to work with the underprivileged in Nepal, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
